Nur Sprachlerner, die diese Ausdrücke kennen und sicher anwenden können, dürfen von sich behaupten, ihre Zielsprache „geknackt\" zu haben.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eWie können wir Deutsche bei der Erlernung und korrekten Anwendung kulturell geprägter chinesischer Ausdrücke unterstützen? Die in anderen Verlagen erschienenen Titel mit diesem Ziel lassen sich grob in zwei Arten unterteilen: Die einen präsentieren die Hintergründe und Geschichten zu Sprichwörtern, Spruchweisheiten und Redensarten. Sie bieten auch eine zweisprachige chinesisch-deutsche Darstellung und sind für deutsche Chinesischlernende zweifelsohne sehr nützlich. Diese Werke liefern aber meist zu jedem Stichwort eine Geschichte und so ist die Zahl der Einträge relativ gering. Gemessen am Reichtum des chinesischen Wortschatzes erscheint dies geradezu wie ein Korn im Ozean. Hinzu kommt noch, dass längst nicht alle Begriffe auf eine Geschichte zurückgehen, wohl aber in aller Deutlichkeit chinesische Kultur widerspiegeln. Die anderen Titel sind Wörterbücher. Sie haben zwar viele Einträge, bieten jedoch weder eine erschöpfende Erklärung noch eine interessante Darstellung.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eWie kann man die Vorteile beider Typen miteinander verbinden – also einerseits möglichst viele Begriffe aufnehmen, die die Eigentümlichkeiten chinesischer Kultur wiedergeben, andererseits aber auch eine detaillierte Erklärung liefern? Der Autor gliedert die ausgewählten chéngyǔ \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e成语\u003c\/span\u003e (mit dem deutschen „Sprichwort\" nicht identisches „bildungssprachliches Sprichwort\"), yànyǔ \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e谚语\u003c\/span\u003e (eigentliches Sprichwort, Spruchweisheit, Aphorismus), súyǔ \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e俗语\u003c\/span\u003e (volkstümliche Redensart, hier auch als „Volksmund\" bezeichnet), xiēhòuyǔ \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e歇后语\u003c\/span\u003e (zweigliedrige Spruchweisheit) und alle weiteren in die Kapitel Mensch, Tiere, Pflanzen, Naturerscheinungen, Gebrauchsgegenstände, Lebensmittel, Farben, Richtungs- und Positionswörter und Zahlen. Jeder Eintrag enthält eine ausführliche Erläuterung der kulturellen Bedeutung und einen kurzen Abriss der entsprechenden Geschichten. So wird der Leser nicht nur auf unterhaltsame Weise über den kulturellen Hintergrund unterrichtet, er kann auch recht systematisch und umfassend sein Vokabular erweitern.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eGewiss richtet sich dieses Buch vor allem an deutsche Chinesischlernende.
